Sometimes when you feel that things are slipping out of your hands, you just have to take a step back, reflect, and give in.

Just an important lesson I've learnt. Glad it worked. Giving in really isn't my thang, but hey, I tried and no harm was done. I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Thank you my darlings, for being there for me, giving me advices and nice comforting hugs.

Went to Vincent's house with Gwen and Alvin and played guitar. Well I was like the noob-est so I didn't play as much as they did, so mostly I just sang while they played. And it was pretty fun! Especially with some super LOL moments.

Vincent is damn AWESOME playing his organ. Woo!!!

Alvin can play the guitar DAMN WELL and his singing is NICE! Surprisingly.

Gwen. She uhhhh... She is..... Uhh..... MY BFF :D

LOLS.

Gwen was fooling around on Vince's organ, especially with the sound effects it had. And ohmygod, the SCREAM sounded 100% like Gwen's. I couldn't stop laughing :D If I didn't know better, he probably had her scream recorded . *raise eyebrows* NAH.

Well, I know I should totally be studying. But I'm not going to... Gonna go find some guitar scores and try to learn them myself. Which reminds me, I NEED A CAPO!!!!! NOT THE CHEAPO TYPE, A REAL PROPER CAPO!!!!!!

OHMYGOD I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Is it also 23rd September for Singapore??? I haven't watched CSI in a long time, but I'm definitely not missing this episode!!!!

JB's gonna be a bad boy. A hot and cute one indeed. I love it :D

Yesterday was one of the most fun days I've had in quite a long time. Spent it with my BFF and two other not so important people. Or not... HAHAHA.

Mid-autumn was as usual, but well it's the last year so we went back. And it was nice :D Really nice :D

Anyway, I just want to say something:

HAUNTED CHANGI SUCKS!!! TO THE EFF-ING CORE!!!!!
NO SCARE.
NO THRILL.
NO UNEXPECTED PLOT.
NO SUSPENSE.

I'll sum it up in 1 word:
AMATEURISH.

So much for the "Singapore makes great films." advertisement they always screen before the start of movies. It's an utter embarrassment. It's so horrible that it isn't even fit to be classified under "horror". It should be under comedy.

Don't get me wrong, I love Singapore. And I'm somewhat proud to be a Singaporean. But there are certain aspects we still need to focus on developing. No wonder we are in desperate need of foreign talent. Local talent: CMI.

YESTERDAY WAS SUPER COOL COS I CALLED IN TO 987FM SAY IT WITH MUSIC AND IT WAS PLAYED ON AIR!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

We went for dinner then was on the way home when I decided to sms in using my dad's phone. So I did, but got tired of waiting cos didn't hear my dedication. So my sis was like pestering me to call in. So I did.

Jacqui was super nice. Here's roughly our convo before she recorded it:

Jacqui (J): Hello!
Me (M): Hi Jacqui!
J: Hey there! Who's this on the line?
M: I'm Sarah.
J: Hey Sarah, so what are you doing now?
M: I just finished dinner, on the car on the way home now.
J: Alright! What did you eat?
M: Nasi lemak, haha.
J: Oh wow, was it good?
M: Yeah not bad.
J: I see, so can I get you a song?
M: Stuck like glue by Sugarland.
J: Aww I played that earlier, can I get you another song dear?
M: Somebody to love by Justin Bieber.
J: Alright, that I can do babe. Will you hold on a moment, I'd like to record this. Hold on, don't hang up ok?
M: Ok. (covers phone and whispers to parents: "She's gonna record this, ohmygod!!")

(After on hold for awhile..)

J: And that was King Of Anything by Sara Bareilles (blah blah blah)
Hi Sarah!
M: Hi!
J: How are you?
M: I'm great!
J: Alright so you said you just had dinner right, what did you eat?
M: Nasi lemak, at Punngol
J: Was it nice?
M: Yeah it's pretty nice.
J: You're making me salivate.
M: You haven't had dinner yet?
J: Noo, aww. Yep so can I get you a song?
M: Somebody to love by Justin Bieber please.
J: Alright is it going out to anyone?
M: My sis Michelle, and my mum and dad.
J: Alright no problem. Bye sweetie!
M: Bye Jacqui!

HAHAHAHAHAHA then waited for about 15 minutes to actually hear it on the radio. My sis and I were like SUPER HAPPY and were screaming non-stop while my parents were laughing at me. And I sounded ok you know, I was worried my voice would suck. While King Of Anything was playing I called Gwen and was like TURN ON THE RADIO NOW!!! I'M GONNA BE ON AIR!!!!! HAHAHA :D It's an amazing experience. Calling in is one thing, I did call in before to Desiree as well. But having it recorded and played on air is way awesome :D

Anyway going to Gwen's house [MY *BFF: BITCH FRIEND FOREVER :D ] on Wednesday after Math remedial to play guitar, I'M EXCITED!!!!!!!! It's like my new passion, HAHAHA. I haven't touched my guitar for years and that day when I brought it out, and as I was wiping it clean, I felt totally attached to it and was like "Alright I gotta learn how to play this guitar and rock at it."

So dramatic. LOL.

I'm currently at gwen's house now, gonna study later. Now I need to cool myself from the fucking heat. It's bloody hot and my entire back is wet. Stupid weather, it's really global warming, and I guess the universe might just die because of it.

Anway, HAPPY BELATED 16th BIRTHDAY MELANZZO TAN YONG WEI!!!!!! Hope you like the adorable bearbear that we put in so much effort to build just for you. It has the same birthday as you and it's name after you, MEZZO!!!! So cute right :D

Yes the process of building the bear was super funny. We chose the bear, then wanted to choose some clothes for it, but it's really too expensive. Then the bear was being stuffed and we have to do something called the Heart Ceremony. Seriously. We each take a small heart and rub it to give it warmth, let the bear kiss it, rub it on his head and his heart and then make a wish. Yes it's all about sincerity, but still........ It was hilarious :DDDD

Okk I think we should start studying soon, or later. Define soon/later.
